Supervision & Consultations for Professionals
-
I offer Clinical Supervision to Clinicians (completed Master's degree +).
As a part of the supervisory relationship, I actively engage in discussions around the decolonization of mental health, debate about Western/Eastern approaches to Psychology, and focus on somatic transference and countertransference.
You can set up a free 15-minute consultation to discuss if my approach would work for you. Supervision fees are as follows:
Concessional supervision to R-DMTs (early career) - Sessions are AUD 100 (approx. USD 65).
In-person supervision in Melbourne (for early career practitioners) is subject to space availability and charged AUD 125.
Virtual supervision across borders - Sessions are AUD 100 (approx. INR 5800).
-
Online consultations offer one-off or occasional conversations where my expertise can support you in navigating professional situations.
This may include discussions about clients or career transitions, such as exploring a career in Creative Arts Therapy (CAT). If you are considering a career in Creative Arts Therapy and want to speak with someone who has firsthand experience, I understand the challenges you face. During our call, I will share insights from my experience and answer your questions to the best of my ability.
These consultations are charged at AUD 120 for 40 minutes, and are typically conducted online on an as-needed basis. Please note that free inquiry calls are not available for this session type. What we can do together in therapy sessions
What we can do together in supervision sessions
In supervision with me, we create a space where relational depth and scientific rigour work together rather than compete. Our work can support you to:
Navigate Professional Identity
We can do this by exploring the foundations of your professional self, examining moments of self-doubt, and integrating your strengths into a grounded sense of who you are as a clinician.
Discuss Professional Development & Research Opportunites
We can do this by sorting through the vast landscape of trainings, identifying what truly aligns with your goals, and choosing pathways that support your growth rather than your self-doubt.
Gain Clarity on Psychodynamic Processes
We can do this by unpacking transference and countertransference, illuminating unconscious dynamics, and using these insights to understand clients’ needs with greater depth.
Connect Theory to Pratice
We can do this by linking what happens in the room to core concepts, translating abstract frameworks into lived clinical moments, and strengthening your confidence in real-time decision-making.
Focus on Decolonising your Practice
We can do this by sitting with the intentions you hold for your work, uncovering where dominant narratives may be shaping your approach, and discovering ways to de-center yourself so you can practice with genuine cultural humility.
“Sometimes unlearning is more important than learning. Therapy can be the space where that happens.”
