The skills and abilities I possess are a result of my support system's sacrifices and encouragement.
I acknowledge my privilege in being able to pursue an education of my choice. I aim to use this privilege and pay it forward by supporting (as I can) the new generations of Creative Arts Therapists and Associations that strive to support ethical care to clients without discrimination.
I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands where I have studied. They have been phenomenal in paving the way for a life lived with the attunement of the mind-body nexus.
I express gratitude to the “Lenapehoking," Land of the Lenape People and Lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung People who embodied empathy and one-ness within the mind and body long before dance therapy was formalized into a discipline.
